It's been a while!

I haven't put a new post on since October last year, partly because I guess I got lazy with it, the situation at LFC hadn't really improved with the last manager etc. But over the last few weeks I have been thinking about re-vitalising it, renew my energy and use it for what I wanted.

Then, a couple of days ago a fellow twitter @oilsdad started his again and that kicked me into getting to this point.

I guess I will start with the main event since October, baby Louise Mollie Turner was born on 31st January! The start was a bit traumatic with her not responding and then spending the next 4 days in the ICU.

The return of King Kenny to Anfield has really made this a season of 2 halves for Liverpool! Torres going to Chelsea and being replaced with Suarez and Carroll has been a blessing in disguise and cant say we are missing Torres at all. He is a class striker, however, his attitude can stink and one thing I have noticed over the last few games is how much more of a team Liverpool are now instead of things going towards Torres most of the time, Kuyt, Maxi, Suarez, Carroll all scoring and sharing the goals around. A good 5th place and Europe again, all be it the Europa Cup is better than we had expected last October for sure!

It pains me to say it but well done to Man Utd for their 19th title!! We will soon catch up and overtake again and when Fergie goes that will be an interesting time for them.

My first season as the Liphook Cobras U8 manager has been more successful and interesting that I had expected. From a results perspective, we have only lost 2 games since October, one due to lack of players the other trying a new formation. I quickly worked out that it is more about managing the boys than to do with football. Next season, hopefully they will start to pass!!

Work has been quiet really, I think more so due to the recession and I have seen similar drops reflected in other stores and areas, but we have been busy behind the scenes since November and hopefully, within the next 2 weeks I can reveal more to our master plan.
